Computer Storage Facility- Guernsey
Below there is a selection of photos showing the various stages of a contract we completed earlier this year in St Peters Port, Guernsey, Channel Islands.
Fabrication of the steelwork began in late February at our purpose built fabrication workshop in Hunningham, Warwickshire.

The preceeding week we had delivered and installed the holding down bolt assemblies that had been prepared at our works.

The main and secondary (cold rolled) steel arrived on Saturday afternoon, the same day as our erectors arrived by ferry from the
mainland. Sunday morning all steel was offloaded and erection of the main steelwork started.

Monday and Tuesday saw our erectors progressing well and also the fixing of the secondary steel was able to begin.

|
Whilst the floors were being boarded all the exterior secondary steelwork was put into place and made ready for the exterior cladding
to begin. This was to be insulated composite panels. Using these ensured an easy and very quick way of closing
the building off from the elements.

All composite panels were fitted and also all related flashings were completed over a period of 15 days. This enabled other
contractors to commence with the installation of the computer pods. As soon as this was done it was the end of our part of
the contract. Completed ahead of shedule and with no hold ups.
